Val di Fiemme

It is one of the main Dolomite valleys, surrounded by the Latemar group, the Lagorai range and the Pale di San Martino. The region is marked off by two different nature parks, Paneveggio and Monte Corno.
Over half of the region is covered by Norway spruce forests, precious resource and fundamental for the local economy and work of local craftsmen. In this area the wood is used for the creation of the so-called perfect violins. In the modern age master lute-makers from Cremona, made their way here to find suitable wood for the production of the renowned Stradivarius.
Valle di Fiemme is a region with a strong tourist tradition and the fact that many decide to spend their holiday in these places every year is a guarantee of its professional and welcoming environment.
