Valle di Non
Squashed between the Brenta group to the south, the Maddalene range to the west, monte Roen and monte di Mezzocorona to the east, Val di Non is long in shape and follows the longitudinal path of two torrents, the Noce and the Novella, that split the valley in two. It gently ascends to passo delle Palade and gives the impression of being on a large plateau surrounded by mountains with jagged peaks. The apple tree and a dense network of Medieval castles reign until a height of 800 metres, from here they are replaced by fir and larch woods, more suited to high altitudes and the rigid winter temperatures.
